Why set a gas safety reminder before you need the engineer?
Under the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations, landlords must arrange an annual gas safety check by a Gas Safe registered engineer and keep a record. Tenants should receive a copy within 28 days of the check (and before move-in for new tenancies).

What should you do after the new gas safety certificate arrives?
